PETG Plastic Packaging
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol Modified) is going to be extremely similar to PET when it comes to its properties and uses.
The main difference between the two is the addition of a Glycol modifier (the "G" in PETG) which removes the hazing effect during the heating of PET. Moreover, PETG is a more pliable plastic, that is easier to form, than PET. Thin and thick gauge options are available.
Examples of PETG applications are:
- POP displays
- Coverings
- Electronic packaging
- Medical device packaging
- Food Packaging
- Cannabis Industry
