HDPE Plastic Packaging

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic packaging is one of the most dependable options when it comes to plastics.

Due to its lightweight and strong makeup, custom HDPE plastic packaging is widely used across industrial thermoforming applications. On top of its exceptional strength, HDPE is also resistant to external factors such as stains, odors, and moisture. HDPE tends to be more on the difficult side in terms of forming because of the shrinkage that occurs during the heating process due to its chemical components. Once the shrinkage is properly accounted for in the design phase, HDPE is one of the more resilient plastics.

HDPE isn’t exclusively suited for industrial applications, it is used in a variety of industries such as transport/shipping and the cannabis industry. Since it is available in FDA Compliant Grade, it widely used in the food industry as well. Whether it be an HDPE shipping tray or a food tray that will be stored in the freezer, HDPE is a material utilized by many food manufacturers.
